At the time of my writing this, SimpleX does not have any exploits or security vulnerability that causes IP addresses to be leaked. Most of the claims are related to link preview fetching behavior. This applies to users who are not taking any sort of anonymization steps like using a VPN or Tor and haven't disabled "Send link previews" under Settings>Privacy and Security. Always do your own research, but as of May 2026 SimpleX is currently the most secure messenger client that I've come across. Black Ops Dark Matter (Just got listings set up) It seems my account was purged from DrugHub for not logging in within 6 months despite being bonded. Aside from a thread on their subdread that was posted relatively recently I can't find this policy in writing anywhere on their market. In order to join they want me to pay a second vendor bond of 5 xmr which would give me a new blank slate account. For now I don't think I'll be on there unless I really think it will really be a worthwhile investment. Archetyp was seized on June 11 2025. I'm still in a transition period and working on getting set up and finishing listings on some of these. At the same time, it's hard to place trust in the markets right now. I'm hesitant to accrue an escrow balance again. I had a planned hiatus coming up so I might be taking some time off ahead of schedule but I'd like to explore some alternative options.
